Cornwall Park

One place Thomas has been to a lot is Cornwall Park. I'm not exactly a stay at home and sit around kind of person, even with a baby. Thomas and I go for a walk each Sunday morning with friends from school and Cornwall park is in the rotation of walks. We also go walking with some of our Mummy friends from my prenatal class and we walk here as well. It's got great paved pathways, lots of trees, beautiful flowers and lots of livestock - both cattle and sheep are plentiful.

One one of the hot evenings, Mark and I decided to take Thomas for a walk while we waited for it to cool down enough to cook some dinner for ourselves. There was so much green around that you sort of forget you are in the middle of Auckland. We also had a good chuckle as it seemed that every time we were walking by any cars on the road they were always waiting for sheep or cattle to get out of the way.
