Another far-flung traveller

This April, we had another long distance house guest and travel companion who escaped the Canadian winter blues for a beautiful fall New Zealand adventure. Bright and early, Lisa was waiting at the Airport when we arrived, having landed early. We kept things pretty simple, with a few small trips to Leigh for some snorkeling, into Mt Eden to get groceries and walk through the quaint shops, and wandering up the volcanic mount to see the beautiful city in its entirety.

Before we knew it though, she was off to the airport and away on her own little adventure to the South Island. The next couple days, Mary-Ellen finished up school for the term and I set a few experiments in motion before we too set out to the airport to meet the weary bus traveler in Queenstown a week later.
